"Azucar” features Marilyn Rodriguez who has been performing Celia's iconic hits for over 10 years. Marilyn receives rave reviews for her spot on impersonation. She not only sounds like Celia but also has an uncanny resemblance to the the legendary artist.

Celia Cruz the Legendary Queen of Salsa was born in Cuba and had a career which spanned over 50 years. She started singing on the radio stations and in the Cabarets of Havana. 

Celia ascended to the throne of the Queen of Salsa in the nascent days of the genre in the nightclubs of New York. She had a remarkable career in which she made more than 75 albums, won 8 Grammys,earned 23 Gold Albums and sold millions of records. Azucar literally means sugar in Spanish was Celias tag line.
